Some things ought to follow a cycle but some don't. The famous passages in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 talk about there being a right season for everything. But when it comes to loving, the time is always right. Jesus cursed the fig tree when it did not have fruit to feed Him when he was hungry (Matthew 21:18-19).
